EAST TAUNTON – Margaret (Furtado) Andrews, wife of the late Ernest G. Andrews, died at the Life Care Center of Raynham on Oct. 20, 2013.
She was 89.
Born in East Taunton, the daughter of the late Manuel and Frances (Fontes) Furtado, she was educated in Taunton schools and was a lifelong resident of the area.
Mrs. Andrews moved to Raynham two years ago.
Employed by Princess House for 18 years, she retired in 1985.
A communicant of Holy Family Church, and a former communicant of St. Anthony Church, she attended mass on a daily basis.
Mrs. Andrews enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family; and will be remembered as a good cook.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Joseph and John Furtado, Mary Content, Sadie Berthao and Emily Patrick.
A funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Church on Thursday, Oct. 24th at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
