Jeannette (Beauregard) Levasseur, 89, formerly of Salem, MA and Goffstown, Nh, died Friday, October 18, 2013 at her home in Beverly. She was predeceased by her husband John V. Levasseur with whom she shared many years of marriage.
Born in Salem, MA in 1924, she was the daughter of the late Rose (Richard) and Donat Beauregard. She was raised and educated in Salem. She retired from the Lynn Item after 20 years as a supervisor in the Classified Advertising Dept. After retiring to Goffstown, NH, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She also loved playing the piano, doing counted cross-stitch, painting and reading.
She leaves three daughters, Suzanne and her husband Richard Soo Hoo of Andover, Janice and her husband Willis Iannarelli of Marblehead, Patricia Levasseur of Salem. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Willis Iannarelli of Nova Scotia and Claudia Jin Soo Hoo and husband Benjamin O’Leary of North Andover, 3 great-grandchildren two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Armand, Frank, George and Joseph Beauregard.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem, MA on Monday, October 28, 2013 At 11:00 A.M. There will be no visiting hours.
