WORCESTER – Mr. Michael P. Vigliatura, 51, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday October 16th at his home.
Michael is survived by his loving mother, Elizabeth (O’Malley) Vigliatura of Worcester with whom he resided, three sisters, Patricia A. Aboody of Worcester, Kathleen E. DiGiorgio and her husband John of Holden, Mary Ellen Stolarczyk and her husband Alan of Spencer; a brother-in-law, Paul Aboody of Shrewsbury; and nephews, Paul M. Aboody, Blake T. Aboody, and Joseph J. DiGiorgio, and a niece, Lyndsey E. DiGiorgio; along with many cousins, aunts and uncles and close friends.
Michael was pre-deceased by his father, Mr. Donald P. Vigliatura Sr., his brother, Donald Vigliatura Jr and his brother Tom “T Vig” Vigliatura.
Michael was born March 17th, 1962 in Worcester, Massachusetts a son of the late Donald P. Vigliatura and Elizabeth(O’Malley) Vigliatura.
He was a graduate of Worcester Boys Trade School. Michael worked in construction for many years laying foundations, he worked as a manager at J.A. Aboody in Fanuiel Hall in Boston and also ran a successful on line business.
He will be greatly missed by his family for his big smile and warm heart.
His funeral will take place on Wednesday October 23rd at St Stephen’s Church, Worcester, with his Funeral Mass at 10am. The family will receive relatives and friends in the church from 9:00am to 10:00am. Burial will take place at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
