Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church at 9 am. To his many friends and loved ones visiting hours will be Thursday 4-8 pm. Richard Newell Coy age 65 of Easton died on Monday September 20, 2004, after a brief battle with the rare disease Amyloidosis. Mr. Coy was born and raised in Brockton, son of the late Arthur and Agnes (Jones) Coy. He recently retired after a distinguished career in retail management. He was a Marine Corp Veteran, a Mason at St. George Lodge and a long time member of the Brockton Open Door Group. His love of life and notable quirky sense of humor will be greatly missed by those that knew him.
He is survived by his best friend and wife Joan (Gouthro) Coy, and his children, Teresa Tupper and her husband Dean of Easton; Richard Coy and his wife Gisela of Easton; Stephanie Woodward and her husband Mark of W.
