Mary A. (Brown) Kowal of Natick, died on Friday, October 18, 2013 at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 86 years old.
Born in Westford, Massachusetts on October 20, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James H. & Helen (Merrick) Brown. Raised in Westford, she earned her Master’s Degree from Boston University and taught business subjects for the Natick Public Schools for over twenty years.
She was a resident of Natick and a devout member of St. Linus Church of Natick; attending the daily nine am mass for many years. Mary enjoyed bridge, golf, the beach, Cape Cod and crossword puzzles.
She was the devoted wife of the late Walter J. Kowal. Loving mother of Deborah A. Kreusch & her husband John of Dedham, James E. Kowal of NY, NY, Susan E. Kowal, also of NY, NY & Beth A. Kowal of Natick. Caring sister of James H. Brown, Jr. of Washington, D.C.
Funeral from John Everett & Sons, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Monday, Oct. 21st at 8:00AM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Linus Church 119 Hartford St., Natick at 9:00AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Interment is private. Visiting hours Sunday from 3:00-6:00PM.
