Obituary

After nearly a four year battle with ALS, Kevin Joseph Walsh, 56, of Weare, NH died October 17, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Boston on November 13, 1956, he was the son of George and Clare (Doherty) Walsh. He was educated in the Boston school system and earned a mechanical engineering degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology. When not at sea, he volunteered his time to many worthy causes including the Goffstown food pantry, the bookstore at St. Marie Church, and as a Eucharistic minister at the Catholic Medical Center. When he wasn’t volunteering, he enjoyed tinkering, hunting, fishing and giving free billiard lessons at the American Legion Post 65.

Walsh and his companion Keri Belanger, both of Weare; his mother, Clare Walsh of East Bridgewater, MA; his siblings, John Walsh and wife Susan of Pawtucket, RI, Clare Condon and husband Thomas of Whitman, MA, Elizabeth Valenti and husband Brad of Merrimack, NH, Mary B.
