Richard A. Fickett, 69, of Derry, NH, died Thursday October 17, 2013 in the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. He was born in Portsmouth, NH on August 25, 1944, a son of the late Aaron and Doris (Springfield) Fickett, and had been a resident of Derry for most of his life. Richard was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, Class of 1963. He was self-employed as a limousine and airport driver. Richard loved photography, Nascar Racing, model cars, and watching Red Sox and Patriots games with his wife.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Fickett of Derry; three sons, Shawn A. Fickett of Concord, NH, Bryan C. Fickett of Sandown, NH, and Zachary M. Fickett of Derry; two extended daughters, Linda Boulanger of Derry, and Kristen Leahy of Pelham, NH; his sister, Barbara Murphy of Derry; as well as several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday, October 22nd from 3 - 5pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services followed at 5:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Fickett family.
