Freeda (Razook) Gatteny of Reading, formerly of Boston’s South End, passed away on October 17, 2013. She was 90 years old.
Freeda was the dear and devoted wife of the late Samuel D. Gatteny. Loving mother of Darlene Monti and her husband Augusto of Milan, Italy, Carol Lizotte and her husband John of Reading and the late Demetri Gatteny. Cherished grandmother “Tete” of Celine Lizotte and Kristen Gatteny. Dear sister of Rose Scott of Norwood and the late Nazira LaLande, Abraham Eddy, Joseph Razook and Lily Peters. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Freeda's Funeral Service was held in the Church of St. John of Damascus, 300 West St. DEDHAM on October 22, 2013.

Freeda was reunited with her beloved Samuel and Demetri at Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park.
