Obituary

Chester T. Lepak, 90, of Uxbridge formerly of Medway died October 17 in Milford Regional Medical Center; he was the husband of the late Margaret F. (Hanlon) Lepak who died in 2010.
Born in Adams ,Massachusetts, July 19,1923, the son of the late Thomas and Victoria (Zoltek) Lepak, Mr. Lepak was raised in New Bedford and had lived in Medway from 1956 until 2010 when he moved to Uxbridge.
Mr. Lepak had been a mason at Medfield State Hospital for many years.
He had also been an LPN doing private care work.
Mr. Lepak served in the Civilian Conservation Corps.
He also served in the Army during World War II.
He was a Private First Class in the 463rd Coast Artillery Battalion and he saw service during the invasion of Normandy and throughout the Eastern Theater.
Mr. Lepak was a life member of the Medway VFW and had been a member of St. Joseph’s men’s club and also St. Joseph’s bowling league.
Chester enjoyed operating radio controlled model airplanes, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his children, Thomas Lepak of Pembroke, Bonnie DiPasquale of Uxbridge, Patricia Grant of Uxbridge, Christopher Lepak of Brookfield, Timothy Lepak of Peoria, Arizona and Peggy McCarthy of Millville.
He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday October 22 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-8.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to Massachusetts Commission for the Blind, 600 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02111.
