Wells, William, A. Jr. 62, of Plymouth passed away at Jordan Hospital I on October 15. Beloved husband of Jane (Quintal) Wells of Plymouth. Loving father of Thomas, Andrew and Jillian all of Plymouth. He also leaves his mother Therese (Charlebois) Wells of Brockton, brother of Kathleen DeGrassie and her husband John of Salisbury, NH, Nancy Abrams and her husband Roy of East Bridgewater, and Jane Wells of Brockton, and many nieces and nephews.
William was born in Brockton the son of William and Therese Wells, he graduated from Brockton High School and attended Quincy College. William was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Plymouth. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. William was on the Board of Directors of the South Plymouth Little League and was an assistant coach for his son’s little league teams. He was known for his cooking skills. His homemade pizza was his specialty. The most important thing to him though was spending time with his family and how proud he was to be a Dad to his 3 children.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 619 State Road (Rte 3A) Plymouth (Manomet) on Friday October 18 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Parish on Saturday October 19 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in the Vine Hills Cemetery Plymouth. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wells Children College Fund C/O Citizens Bank
