RAY WESNER, 89, humble man of God, passed away at UK Hospital, October 16, 2013.
He was an engineer at Ford Motor Company, retired after 34 years of service. Ray was a member of the Shively Christian Church for 50 plus years. He was a Navy WWII veteran, belonged to the Kentuckiana Car Club and Past Chairman of his Church Board, two terms.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Leona (Martin) and Rex Wesner.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, the former Imogene (Wilson); his children, son, Don Wesner and daughter, Linda Black (Gary); sister, Bethel Wesner and two grandchildren, John Black and Julie Black (Isaac Jensen).
Funeral service will be at Shively Christian Church, 1822 Kendall Lane, Monday, October 21, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. with entombment at 2:30 p.m. in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, Lexington, Kentucky.
Visitation will be at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Sunday 12:00-8:00 P.M.
