Obituary

Rita D. (Lajoie) Jaquith, 84 of Franklin died October 16 at her home after a long illness. She was the wife of Garland Jaquith for the past 58 years.
Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, January 13, 1929, the daughter of the late Ernest and Alice (Bechard) Lajoie, Mrs. Jaquith was a graduate of Nashua New Hampshire, class of 1949 and attended Nashua Business College.
Rita was employed at the former New England Tel and Tel and at Filene’s Department Store in Natick.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening and cooking. She and her husband traveled in the USA, Canada and Europe and took many cruises.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter Melissa D’Errico and her husband Peter of Franklin and her son Stephen Jaquith and his wife Cynthia of Medway.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicholas D’Errico of Milford, Caroline D’Errico of Franklin, Courtney Runyan of Medway and her great-grandson Trevor Runyan of Medway.
She is also survived by her sister Madeleine Lajoie of Nashua , Major General Roland Lajoie and his wife JoAnn of Wilton , New Hampshire and was the sister of the late Normand, Robert, Alfred Lajoie and Estelle Brodeur.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her memorial service will be held on Saturday October 19 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street Franklin at 1:0p.m.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00-1:00.
