Camille M. (Walker) Labombard, 95, of Hudson, former longtime resident of Clinton, died on Monday, Oct. 14th at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center. She was the wife of 48 years to the late Earl E. Labombard who died in 1989.
Camille was born and raised in Hudson, daughter of the late Elmer and Hattie (Morel) Walker. She attended local schools and was employed as an inspector by the former Thomas Taylor & Sons of Hudson for 50 years until retiring in 1983. She resided in Clinton for many years with her husband until settling in Hudson for the past few years. She always cherished her visits with family and friends and they will truly miss her.
She is survived by her niece, Rosanna Mixter, of Hudson and was the sister of the late Rita Benway who died on Oct. 4th of this year and the late Dorothy Walker . She is also survived by her great niece, Rosanna D. Mixter of Hudson; her great nephew, Scott Mixter of Westfield; her great-great nephew Jonathan Nelson Mixter and her longtime friend Martha Berry of Hudson.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct 19th at 10:00 a.m. in Saint John’s Church, 80 Union Street, Clinton. Burial services will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Lancaster. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. prior to the mass at theTighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
