Obituary

Billie Jean Tyler was born in Tuckerman, Arkansas on February 19, 1926. She moved to Santa Paula, California in 1945 where she lived with her family on the Limoneira Ranch and met and married her husband, Jack A. Tyler, in 1948. She worked at the packinghouse at the Limoneira and also worked for the Sears catalogue department, both in the Santa Paula and the Oxnard stores. Billie Jean was a loving daughter, sister, wife and aunt, and she will be missed for the love she gave, her positive attitude and bright smile. Her family finds comfort in the fact that she had a strong Christian faith and we know that she is united with her Lord, her beloved husband and family in heaven.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Jack A. Tyler, her parent’s Bertha and Oscar Phillips and her brother Oscar Phillips, Jr.

She is survived by her sisters Anna Varee Taylor and Betty Jo Isensee, and her nieces and nephews: Andrea Barber, Benton Demaree, Barbara Kimball and Bundy Phillips, and many loving extended family and friends.
