Leon Railey, age 77, of Broxton, GA passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Railey was born on November 15, 1935, in Alapaha, GA to the late William Railey and Annie Ricketson Railey. Mr. Railey served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and formerly employed at Western Auto.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Elizabeth Railey of Broxton, GA, son, Jr Railey of West Green, GA, daughter, Peggy Sue Sirmans of Broxton, GA, sister, Shirley Merritt of Broxton, GA, four brothers, Pete Railey, Herman Railey, George Railey all of Broxton, GA and Cecil Railey of Ambrose, GA, seven grandchildren, Dustin Railey, Derrek Railey, Dana Railey, Deanna Railey, Lee, Railey, Cody Sirmans, and Timmy Sirmans, and several nieces and nephews.
Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
