Millard Guy Reedy, III age 69, died Monday, October 14, 2013 at Brandon Court Nursing Home in Brandon, MS where he resided for the past two years. He was born September 21, 1944 in Ruleville, MS to the late Rev. Millard Guy and Doris Spencer Reedy. Millard graduated high school at George S. Gardner High School in Laurel, MS, served in the Army National Guard and was employed for many years as a civilian contractor with the Navy in the Washington DC area.
A graveside service is planned for 11:00 am on Friday, October 18, 2013 in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS with Dr. Randy Bain officiating.
Millard is survived by his daughter, Mari Alice Reedy Orgeron (Patrick) of New Orleans, LA; two sons, Millard Guy Reedy IV (Kimberly) of Brandon, MS and Mark M. Reedy (Mary) of Pearl, MS; his brother, Stephen Reedy (Margaret) of Ocean Springs, MS; his sister, Gloria Lamb (Alan) of Oxford, MS; his grandchildren, Kailee Reedy, Lauren Reedy, Mallory Reedy, Madison Reedy, Hanna Reedy, Natalie Reedy, Emily Orgeron and Brennan Orgeron.
