Bridgewater - Wanda F. (Pawlowski) Nawlicki, 79, of Bridgewater died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at her home after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Michael Nawlicki.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Walenty and Jennie Pawlowski.
Mrs. Nawlicki was raised and educated in Boston schools.
She was retired from Instron Inc. in Canton, where she worked for 24 years as a gauge technician.
Mrs. Nawlicki had been a resident in Bridgewater for the past 58 years.
She enjoyed gardening and traveling and was an outstanding cook and hostess.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brother, Walter Pawlowski of Weymouth; her daughter-in-law, Kay Nawlicki of Dighton; her sisters-in-law, Leona Gedutis of Falmouth, Marian Pawlowski of Norwood and Mary Pawlowski of Weymouth and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was mother to the late Michael J. Nawlicki Jr. and sister to the late Connie Zaverucha and Chester Pawlowski.
Her funeral Mass will be celbrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater. Visitation prior to Mass 7:30-8:45 a.m. in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater. Burial will be at a later date.
