Leigh, Denise A. (Waring) of Marshfield and formerly of Revere, passed away suddenly in her home on October 11, 2013 at the age of 67. Beloved daughter to the late Alice Waring, she is also survived by former husband Charles Leigh. Loving and devoted mother to Jacqueline Leigh of Marshfield and Charles Leigh, Jr. of Hanover. Sister to Maureen Chainey of Revere and the late Frederick and Benny Waring also from Revere. Loving “Nanny” to her four-legged “grandkids” Jack, Harriet and Pretty Kitty. She is also survived by MANY loving family members and friends. Denise was a teacher in the Marshfield School system for years and then had worked at Citizens Bank in Marshfield for a number of years. Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield MA on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 5 to 8 PM. Service from the funeral home Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, in Marshfield at 11:00 am.
