William H. “Billy” Taylor, 81, of Paradis Ave., died Monday September 23, 2013 at Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late William Henry and Katherine Veronica (McBride) Taylor. He was a resident of Woonsocket for most of his life.
Mr. Taylor was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War.
Billy was employed at General Motors in Framingham for over 30 years.
Billy was a member of the Woonsocket B.P.O.E. Lodge 850 and the Cercle Laurier. He enjoyed baseball, bowling, animals, trips to casinos and chatting with friend over coffee.
Billy was a summer resident of Matunuck for many years and treasured the friendships he made there.
Billy is survived by a brother Robert “Slick” Taylor of Woonsocket and a sister Gail Patricia of New Hampshire.
Services were private. Arrangements are by the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket.
