Stephen F. King of Norwell, formerly of Stoughton passed away on Friday October 4, 3013 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He was 54 years old. He is survived by his 3 children, Stephen King, Christopher King and Jason King. Other survivors include his 4 brothers, Garrett F. King of Scituate, Daniel T. King and his wife Jamie of St. Thomas V.I., Peter J. King of Colorado, Matthew T. King of Stoughton, his loving nieces and nephews,Erin,Megan, Alex, Amanda, Timothy, Shannon, Danny, Damian, Joselyn and his sister-in-law Anita King.
Born November 14, 1958 in Cambridge, Massachusetts Stephen was a beloved son of the late Timothy F. and Sheila C. ( Moran ) King. He attended Stoughton Public Schools and was a 1977’ graduate of Stoughton High School. He was employed as a Certified Toshiba Communications Technician for Datel Communications Industries in Avon, Massachusetts for over 23 years.
His hobbies included fishing, spending time outdoors, working with his hands, and most of all the self-satisfaction of having the ability to assist others in need.He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday October 15, 2013 from 4 – 8 P.M. in The Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. His funeral will be held on Wednesday October 16, 2013 at 9:30 A.M. from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton followed by a Funeral Mass Of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, (Rt. 27), Stoughton. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. Cremation to follow and his burial will be private at a later date. Flowers are welcome.
