Paula A. LeSage Erickson, 49, of Derry, died Wednesday October 9, 2013, at Catholic Medical Center of Manchester, surrounded by her family, after a lengthy illness. Paula was born August 8, 1964 in Lawrence, MA, and was a daughter of George LeSage and the late Beverly (LeClair) Jackson. She was raised and educated in Lawrence and had been a resident of Haverhill prior to relocating to Derry 9 years ago. Paula had been employed as a cashier with Market Basket, among other positions she had held, she was an avid New England sports fan and loved to play cards with her family.
In addition to her father of Derry, members of the family include three children, DuWayne S. Erickson, Jr. of California, Chrystyna Erickson of Derry, and Samantha R.B. Erickson-Grenier and her husband James of Haverhill, four grandchildren, Andria Erickson, Ethan Grenier, Krystyn Erickson and Bentley Duce, three siblings, Joseph D. LeSage of Derry, Penny-Jo LeSage of Nashua and Catherine LeSage-Parent of Derry, her former husband, DuWayne S. Erickson and his wife Pamela of Raymond, as well as many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
After cremation, a celebration of her life will be held Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the VFW post 8349, 26 River St., Methuen, MA. from 3 to 6 pm. A private burial will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery of Derry at a later date.
