Helen I. (Knowlton) Harford, 96, of Worcester died Thursday, October 10th at the Christopher House. She leaves a son, George E. Liebried of Hudson; a daughter, Gail E. Holland of Port Charlotte, FL; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ellery B. Harford; a daughter, Lorna L. Buckler and a sister, Jessie L. Smith.
She was born in Concord, NH the daughter of Samuel and Jessie (Tee) Knowlton and graduated from Acton High School. Mrs. Harford was a clerk for 16 years at F.W. Woolworth Company.
Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
