Obituary

Jacobson, Carol (Whitaker) 90, of Plymouth formerly of Duxbury and New York City, passed away at the Newfield House in Plymouth on October 9. Wife of the late Dr. Willard Jacobson she leaves two daughters Ellen Snoeyenbos and her husband Craig of Halifax, Susan Gaztanaga and her husband Lorenzo of Baltimore, MD, a son Thomas Jacobson and his wife Marie of Silver Springs, MD. She also leaves two sisters, Edith McKee of Austin, TX, Marian Rice of Katoomba, Australia and four grandchildren.
Carol was born in Chetek, WI the daughter of Carl and Dorothy Whitaker. She graduated from the University Of Wisconsin River Falls with a BA in English. Carol was a peace activist working for Nuclear Disarmament and Civil Rights through her membership with Riverside Church in New York City. She enjoyed reading the newspaper and keeping up with current events and her church work. She was a member of the First Congregational Parish, Unitarian Universalist in Kingston.

A memorial service will be held at First Parish Church in Kingston on Saturday October 26, at 10 A.M. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, 689 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02139-3302.
