Philip G. Dalrymple, 82 of Londonderry, NH died Wednesday October 9, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Dalrymple was born in Melrose, MA on March 29, 1931, a son of the late Horace and Marguerite (Graham) Dalrymple. He received his Bachelor’s Degree at Northeastern University. He worked in banking for 40 years, retiring as President of Reading Co-operative Bank. Mr. Dalrymple was a member of the Londonderry Presbyterian Church, he enjoyed music and loved sailing on Lake Winnipesaukee.
He is survived by his wife, Priscilla (Christie) Dalrymple of Londonderry, one son, Keith Dalrymple and his wife Heather, two daughters, Marcia Alix and her husband Paul, and Linda Bedell and her husband Todd, five grandchildren, Megan Dalrymple, Courtney Bedell, Alexa Bedell, and Adam and Holly Alix.
Following cremation, a celebration of Philip’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 16th at 2:00pm in the Londonderry Presbyterian Church, 126 Pillsbury Rd., Londonderry. Private burial will be in the Pillsbury Cemetery, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Parkinson Disease Association, c/o Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, 1 Medical Center Way, Lebanon, NH 03766. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Londonderry is assisting the family with arrangements.
