Hartman, Sally Jean, 79. Our Beloved Sally passed away peacefully on October 8th surrounded by her family. She was born on January 18, 1934 and was raised in Ventura, California. She attended Ventura High School, Ventura College and San Jose State College. She married the first and only love of her life, Walter “Bud” Hartman on October 30, 1954. Their relationship was the greatest of love stories. She was a devoted wife and mother to seven children. She embraced adventure and encouraged her children and grandchildren to pursue their passions. She decorated with gusto for every holiday and planned magical celebrations that filled our lives with wonder. Sally’s main focus always remained with her husband, children and grandchildren; she was the rock that remained steady and supportive for all of them. Her upbeat and unwavering tenacity will be profoundly missed. Her vivacious spirit will live on in all who had the pleasure of celebrating life with her.
She was predeceased by her daughter Eileen, her son David, and her father Arnold Weidenfeller. She is survived by her mother Esther Gann, her husband Bud Hartman, her daughters Theresa Ryan, Debbie Duggan, Patricia Cortina and Julie Monro and her son Glenn Hartman, 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild. A celebration of Sally's wonderful life will be held on Saturday October 12 between 11am and 2pm at Spanish Hills Country club in Camarillo, California.
