Alice (Czaban) Gray, 78, of New Bedford died March 13, 2002 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late James Nelson Gray, and daughter of the late Joseph Czaban and Katarzyna (Wach) Czaban Blaszczak.
Mrs. Gray was born in New Bedford and had lived in New Bedford for all of her life.
She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
Mrs. Gray was formerly employed at Continental Screw many years ago.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Janice Arruda and her husband Robert, of New Bedford, and Marcia St. Pierre of Dartmouth; a brother, John Czaban and his wife Jane, of New Bedford; 6 grandchildren, Jamison Paul St. Pierre, Christopher Lee St. Pierre and Wendy Sue St. Pierre, all of Dartmouth, and Jason Robert Arruda, Leslie Anne Arruda and Dwayne Robert Arruda, all of New Bedford; 2 great-grandchildren, Brad Michael St. Pierre of Dartmouth and Kalli Brandi Arruda of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
