North Andover, Ma. Prudence M. (Nicolosi) “Flo” Joaquin, 82, of North Andover, died Tuesday October 7, 2013, at Lawrence General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lawrence where she grew up and was educated. She moved to North Andover in 2003, and was member of the North Andover Senior Center where she met and made wonderful friends. Flo worked at Lawrence General Hospital as a full and part-time house keeper. A member of St. Michael's Parish, Flo was a deeply religious person who had great faith in God and lived by his words. Her family was her whole life whom she loved with all her heart and soul. She prayed selflessly for her family, friends, and for all who walked into her life.
“She was the most kind, caring, and loving women. If you met our mother she was your friend for life. She was loved by so many. And now as she walks in Heaven she will be holding our Dad's hand, happy, and smiling with her beautiful smile,” Said her daughter Maryann.
She is the widow of John J Joaquin, She is survived by her daughter Maryann and her husband Gary Kolifrath of Haverhill, MA, Son, John E Joaquin, of North Andover, MA, Son, Kenneth and his wife Diane of Haverhill, MA, Son, David and his wife Joanne of Londonderry, NH, Son, Michael Joaquin, of Seabrook, NH, Son, Robert Joaquin, of Plaistow, NH., Son, Daniel Joaquin of Lawrence, MA, her Brother -in-law Daniel Joaquin and his wife Jane, of Florida. Her Sister-in-law Bridgett Nicolosi of Germany, 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends.
ARRANGEMENTS; Visiting hours for family and friends will be Friday from 2:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00a.m. in St. Michael’s Church in North Andover, MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
