Obituary

Worcester- Anthony Kozlowski, 84, of Worcester, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, in UMass-Memorial Hospital.

His wife, Grace L. (Cummings) Grazulis Kozlowski, died in 1980. He leaves a son, Paul F. Grazulis and his wife Marilyn of Worcester; a daughter, Barbara V. wife of Stanley J. Burdzel of Worcester; a sister, Hedwig H. Woodward of Rochdale; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Auburn, son of Anthony and Aniela (Slizewski) Kozlowski and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School.

Mr. Kozlowski was a heater for 35 years at Wyman-Gordon Co., retiring in 1981.

He was a member of Ascension Parish, the Vernon Hill American Legion Post 435, the Polish American Veterans of World War II, and the Polish Naturalization Independent Club.

He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, and later served at Valley Forge. He enjoyed bowling and the Red Sox.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling period will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, in the funeral home.
