Lucia M. “Lucy” Hanley, 84 of Medford, died Sunday after a long illness in Lee, New Hampshire.
Born in Medford, she was a lifelong resident and the daughter of the late Anna (Accolla) and Angelo Fazio.
Beloved wife of the late John F. Hanley. Devoted mother of Linda Bates and her husband Timothy of NH, Deborah Hanley and her partner Diana Dale of VA, Kevin Hanley and his wife Janet of Medford, Sheila Shea and her husband Patrick, James Hanley and his wife Kathy all of NH. Also survived by 12 loving grandchildren and 15 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Sarah Barry of Wilmington, Anna Morin of IN, Eleanor Riley of FL and the late Martha Ratto, JoAnn Modica, Angelina Alosso and Salvatore Fazio. Sister in law of Tom Morin, Terry Riley and Josephine Fazio.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
