Clara Etta (Wisdom) Hale, 100, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013 at Rockford Health & Rehab. Born in Albany, Ky. she worked in housekeeping for the Jefferson County Board of Education for 11 years , was a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church and the Leisure Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, John; son, Donald Ray Hale and daughter, Betty Mae Mullins. She is survived by her loving sons, Douglas “Doug” Hale (Freda) and David Hale (Brenda); many grandchildren, great-grand-children and great-great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be Thursday 2 pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation 1pm to 8 pm on Wednesday and after 9 am Thursday.
