Obituary

James M. "Jim" Leeman, an 8 year resident of Braintree and former resident of Charlestown and South Boston entered into eternal life suddenly at his home in Braintree on Sunday, October 6, 2013 while preparing to go to work. He was 47 years old.

Jim was born in Boston on October 19, 1965, a son of the late John K. "Jack" Leeman and Catherine T. "Kay" (O'Connell) Leeman. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School.
Jim also participated in Boston Public Schools Culinary program. He was working as a Supervisor of Transportation for Hyatt at Logan Airport for the last 10 years and was recognized by Hyatt in 2006 as employee of the year. Jim loved cooking and working on classic cars.

Jim is the beloved and loving husband of 18 years to Lorraine M. (Connell) Leeman. He is the devoted brother of Jack Leeman and his companion Marylou Currier of Chelsea, Boston Police Sergeant Joe Leeman and his wife Linda of South Boston and Bob Leeman and his wife Jodi of Revere. He is the loving uncle to Ryan, Patrick, JoJo, Stephany, Miranda, Meredith and Scott. He is also survived by his beloved dog Murphy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jim's Funeral on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Interment at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree. Visiting hours Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
