Louise A. (Whittredge) Albanese, formerly of South Hamilton, died Oct. 5 surrounded by family at her daughter's home. She was 91. Born in Peabody, she was the wife of the late F. Joseph Albanese, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage, and the daughter of the late Angeline (Newhall) and William C. Whittredge.
Mrs. Albanese graduated from Lynn English High School. A devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, she enjoyed the beach and occasionally painted in oils.
She is survived by her daughter Ellen Albanese of East Falmouth and her husband, William Landers, her daughter Nancy Erhard of Stoneham, and her son, David Albanese and his wife, Marcella, of Havelock, N.C., along with eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013 at 10:30 in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery, Maple St., Middleton.
