Cherished mother of Susan, Paula, Janet & David all of South Boston, James & his wife Kristine of Reading & the late Megan Fleming & her husband Neil Morrison of South Boston. Dear sister of the late Raymond P. Tuinila and Virginia M. Kropas of South Boston. Also survived by her much loved goddaughter Eleanor (Plansky) Harrington and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours at the Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston on Thursday, October 10 from 4 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter’s Lithuanian Church on Friday at 10 AM followed by interment at Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain. A life-long resident of South Boston, Eleanor was proud of her family, her community & her Lithuanian heritage. She loved children, books & learning, gardening & travel. She was a past member of the Mattapannock Woman’s Club of South Boston, South Boston Garden Club, the Castle Island Association & a member & Troop Leader of Girl Scouts. Eleanor supported many diverse charities & educational facilities.
