James Arnold Jones, age 49, died Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. He was born January 10, 1964 in Memphis, TN to the late Clyde and Corinne Franklin Jones. James graduated from Rust College and was a member of Mega Psi Phi Fraternity. He enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, barbecuing and spending time with his family and friends.
Visitation is planned for Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Reverend Loyd Walton officiating. Burial will be in the Coffeeville City Cemetery, Coffeeville, MS.
James is survived by his wife, Dorothy Walton Jones of Water Valley, MS; his son, Adrian A. Jones of Water Valley, MS; his daughters, Audrey A. Jones and Autumn A. Jones both of Water Valley, MS; his sisters, Jackie Payne, Bernice Warren, Shirley Hollin (Joe) all of Memphis, TN, Jeanette Pugh (Bobby) of Grand Junction, TN, and Pamela Morgan of Jackson, TN; his brothers, Clyde Jones, Jr. and Eddie B. Jones both of Memphis, TN and Howard Jones (Inell) of Virginia.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Jones.
