Bernice Bernadette (Carvalho) Lafleur passed away Oct. 6, 2013. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (Santos) Carvalho. Bernice was a retired Mental Health Worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and she was a parishioner of St. Mary Cathedral.
She was the mother of Jennifer Lafleur, Beth Ann Lafleur and Kristy Croteau, all of Fall River; sister of Mildred Feijo of N. Providence, Joan Enos of New Bedford and the late Gilbert Carvalho and Joseph Santos. She was the grandmother of Breana, Jacob and Ian Lloubet and Aiden and Tyler Croteau. Bernice also leaves 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River THURSDAY at 9 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Cathedral at 10 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours WEDNESDAY 6-8 P.M.
