Micki Harris, 52, of Litchfield, NH, died Friday October 4, 2013 at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA. She was born in Everett, MA on November 21, 1960; a daughter of Carlene (Anderson) McAdam and the late Vincent McAdam. A resident of Litchfield since 1989, Micki had formerly lived in Hudson, NH and grew up in Everett, MA. Micki was a graduate of Pope John High School in Everett and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Simmons College in Boston, MA. She had been employed as the Director of Clinical Education at Simmons College along with being a physical therapist at St. Joseph Hospital in Hudson, NH.
Micki loved spending time with her granddaughter, family, peeps, mates and being at the Lake.
In addition to her mother of Ft. Myers, FL, Micki is survived by her husband Steve Harris of Litchfield; her daughter, Christina Harris of Boston; her son, Daniel Harris of Litchfield and his wife Christina; her granddaughter, Annabelle Rose Harris of Litchfield; three brothers, Patrick McAdam of Everett, Carl McAdam of Maine, and Michael McAdam of Providence, RI; two sisters, Eileen Morris of Salem, NH, and Kathryn McAdam of Fort Myers, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday, October 8th from 5 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 9 St. Francis Way, Litchfield, with cremation to follow. We wish for her services be held in honor of the way she lived. Micki wished for bright colored clothing, hats and for everyone to gather to celebrate a life well lived.
