Charlton
Carl G. Renholm, Sr., 55, of Burlingame Rd., passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at University of Massachusetts Hospital, in Worcester. He leaves his wife of 25 years, Deborah A. (Powell) Renholm, a son,Carl G. Renholm, Jr. of Charlton, 2 step-daughters; Amy Woolwine of Virginia Beach, VA and Lori Varady of Holliston, a brother, Drew Fales of Freedom, ME., a sister, Katherine Lavallee of Belgrade, ME. 2 grandchildren; Tori Mirra of Holliston, and Riley Woolrine of Virginia Beach, VA., his mother and step-father; Ann (Gifford) Muise and Charles Muise of Framingham, nieces; Ann Marie and Tara May, cousin Emory Fales and many close friends and his 2 siemese cats
Carl was born and raised in Framingham and was the son of the late Carl G. Renholm, he lived in Charlton the past 23 years.
He worked at Auburn High School for 10 years as a custodian and prior to that worked for McNab Engineering in Waltham for 22 years as a sheet metal foreman. Carl was a collector of antique boats and motors and was a member of The Antique Boat Club. He was an avid gardener, especially fruits and berries and enjoyed cooking.
His great joy was spending time with his family at their camp in Maine. Carl was also known to be the one who could make everyone laugh.
The Family would like to Thank all the Charlton Ambulance and Fire Departments and the caring and professionalism of the nurses at Harrington Memorial Hospital Emergency Room and the staff at U. Mass., I.C. U. for their caring of Carl, it will forever be appreciated.
Calling Hours for Carl will be Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 5PM to 8PM at the ROBERT J. MILLER –CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd., in Charlton. A Service for Carl will be at 7:30 PM during calling hours in the funeral home.
