Obituary

Zepf, Edward R. of Centerville, formerly of Cambridge and Jamaica Plain, died Friday, October 4, 2013. He was 85. Ed was married to his beloved wife Mary “Tina” C. (O’Malley) Zepf for 59 years. Loving father of Robert and his wife Jennifer of Brimfield, Donna Miorandi and her husband Ralph of Osterville, Louise Robertson and her husband Paul of Walpole, Joseph and his wife Kathleen of Bellingham and Christine Cassino and her husband Russell of Braintree. He was the devoted grandfather of Monica, Emily, Katie (The big 3), Abigail, Caroline and Joseph. Ed was born in Cambridge, son of the late Alice (Lynch) and Joseph Zepf. Ed is also survived by his sister Patricia R. of Cambridge, brother of the late Joseph, Francis, and Richard Zepf. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ed was a veteran of The United States Merchant Marines, WW II, and a veteran of The United States Navy, Korea and retired from the Boston Public Library.

Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Thursday October 10, at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 14 Montebello Road, Jamaica Plain, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Visiting hours in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.

Interment Gethsemane Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to The New England Center for Homeless veterans, 17 Court St. Boston, MA 02108.
