Henri J. Leboeuf, Sr., 89, of Assonet, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Borje) Leboeuf.
Son of the late David and Ida (Gagnon) Leboeuf he was born and raised in Fall River. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Leboeuf served during WWII-2nd Ranger Battalion. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a delivery man for HP hood and for Duro Finishing. He was a member of the East End Sportsmen Club Auxilliary and was a Cub Scout leader for the Blessed Sacrament Parish Troop of Fall River. Mr. Leboeuf enjoyed Jazz music and shooting pool. He loved his 2 Collies, fishing “with his Boys” and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his 4 sons: Henri J. Leboeuf, Jr. and his wife Kathi of Tuscon, AZ; Michael Leboeuf and his wife Pat of Assonet; Paul Leboeuf and his wife Linda of Fall River; and David E. Leboeuf and his wife Mare of Fall River; his daughter: Susan E. Champagne of Assonet; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the grandfather of the late Derek M. Leboeuf.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 7:30 P.M. at the Potter Funeral Home.
Calling hours will be from 5-7:30 P.M. prior to the service.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
