Govoni, Nelson J. 95, of Plymouth formerly of Hanover died at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth on October 4, 2013. He leaves 2 sons Dennis Govoni of FL, Tom Govoni of Hanover, 2 grandsons Kevin and Darin, 2 nieces Jean Pacheco of Plymouth, and Sandra Carney of Fairhaven, 2 nephews Richard Pacheco of Plymouth, and Fredrick Pacheco of Brockton. He also leaves 1 great nephew and a great great niece and nephew Brother of the Late Florence Quintal.
Nelson was born in Plymouth the son of Fred and Adella (Gallerani) Govoni he attended Plymouth Schools. Nelson worked as a cloth cutter for Davis Sportswear, Twinkle Sportswear, Way Manufacturing, and Merlin Manufacturing. He retired in 1992 and enjoyed dancing.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. (Rte 3A) N. Plymouth on Tuesday October 8 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Peters Parish on Wednesday October 9, at 10:00 AM Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Plymouth, MA
