LAWRENCE – Allen P. Haphey, 57 of Lawrence passed away unexpectedly Wednesday October 2, 2013 at his home in Lawrence.
Born in Lawrence, he was the son of Francis and Norma (Paolino) Haphey and was a graduate of North Andover High School with the Class of 1973. For 30 years Allen was an LPN with Lawrence General Hospital. He had a love for animals especially his late dogs Duncan and Jenna and also loved going to the Isle of Shoals.
He is survived by his three sisters, Norma Currie of Lexington, MA, Frances Belanger of Methuen and Gail Cogliano and her husband Michael of Bradford, MA.
Allen also leaves his good friend Cheryl Vandyke of Lawrence, MA and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Allen was predeceased by his brother Paul Grant.
ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the MSPCA 400 Broadway Methuen, MA 01844. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Sunday from 1:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
