Real J. Audet, 72, of Merrimack, died October 3, 2013 at the Catholic Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Canada on February 16, 1941, the son of Joseph and Cecile (Girard) Audet and was educated in the Canadian school system.
Prior to retirement, Real had worked for Universal Steel Erectors in Weare for many years.
He will be remembered for his loving heart and good natured personality. He enjoyed tinkering with small projects around the house but above all else, cherished time spent with his family.
Family members include his wife of 26 years, Lorraine (Lemay) Audet of Merrimack; his children, Joseph Audet, Patricia Audet and Thomas Audet; his step-children, Leo Beliveau, Randy Beliveau, John Beliveau, and Donald Beliveau; his beloved Godchild Stephanie Beliveau; twenty grandchildren; his siblings, Theresa Larochelle, Marie Luce Dion, Pauline Houle, Simone Groleau, Yolande Roy, Jacqueline Roy, Jean Baptist Audet and Marie Rose Lapointe; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, October 11, 2013 in Our Lady of Mercy Church, Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack. Burial will be at a later time at the convenience of the family.
