Gregory Keith “Greg” Warren, 61, of Shepherdsville, Ky. died October 1, 2013. He was a beloved son, brother and friend. He had lived with cancer for 22 years and yet did not allow it to define him. Greg loved horses, living in the country, dog’s, motorcycles and all things Harley; He delighted in sitting by fast running creeks, bird feeders and bonfires. He was born August 2, 1952, he attended Schaffner Elementary School and Western High School in Louisville, where he was often the class clown and trouble maker, aided by a number of life-long friends. He worked at the Philip Morris Co. 26 years before he was disabled by illness. He is survived by his mother, Geneva Warren of Louisville; sisters, Michele Warren- Wilson also of Louisville and Sharon Walsh of Pittsburgh. Also by his friend and brother-in-law, Gary Wilson of Louisville. Greg’s celebration of life service will be 2 pm Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be 11 am until service time. In lieu of flowers Greg’s family ask that expressions be made to Hosparus or the American Cancer Society.
