Mary Louise Fry
August 17, 1924- October 1, 2013

Mary Louise (Henley) Fry. 89, of Chesterfield, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness.

Mary was born August 17, 1924 in Eldon, Missouri, the daughter of Marcus McKinley and Alice Mae (Dorl) Henley. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Bartlett's Bookstore in Jefferson City, Misssouri from 1943- 1952. She moved to Chesterfield in 1962, where she conducted a Nursery School at Chesterfield Christian Church for 25 years.

She was a long time member of Chesterfield Christian Church, member of Order of the Eastern Star -Daleville Lodge, She was a girl scout leader, cub scout den mother, served as president of the Christian Women's Fellowship, and vice president of the state Christian Women's Fellowship, a member of the nurturing and certification committee of the Theological Seminary at Anderson University. She loved to go shopping, travel and bake cookies.

Over the years, the Fry's were host family for 20 German girls, 2 German boys, 3 French girls and 8 Japanese girls who were in the International Student's Program at Ball State University.

She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Meredith Fry of Chesterfield, 2 Sons, Owen Fry and Robert Fry both of Anderson. Grandson, Marc Fry of Chesterfield, Granddaughter in law, Lisa Fry of Anderson. 2 great granddaughters: Alana Jaye Fry and Haylee Kaye Fry. two sisters: Shirley Ferguson of Scottsdale, AZ; Luellen Henley of Jefferson City, MO, brother Herbert Henley of Jefferson City, MO; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Marvin Fry, 2 grandsons: John Alan Fry and James Bryan Fry, sisters, Jean Henley, Joan O'Neall and Kathryn Henley; two brothers Earl Otto Henley and Harold Henley and a daughter in law, Teresa Lewellyn Fry.

Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, October 5 at Chesterfield Christian Church, officiated by Ned Clark. Entombment will follow at Anderson Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service.

Memorial contributions may be given to Chesterfield Christian Women's Fellowship or First Christian Church in Jefferson City, MO.
