William G. Hart, 56, of New Bedford died Tuesday September 24, 2013 after a brief illness. The son of the late George and Mary Hart and brother of the late Thomas S. Hart, he is survived by his sister, Judith Lemay, nieces Patricia Quail and Maureen Quail, grandnephews, Andrew Quail and Casey Levesque,
and grandnieces, Heather MacFadyen and Madison Levesque.
Bill, a lifelong New Bedford resident, was an avid reader, enjoyed movies, writing short stories, and especially spending time with his family.
He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM at Rural Cemetery.
