Obituary

Augusta, GA – Mr. Earnest P. Dudley, 89, husband of the late Mrs. Martha Ivey Dudley, entered into rest on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Trinity Hospital.

A graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Westover Memorial Park at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Brian LaFavor officiating.

Survivors include one son, James M. Dudley (Sarah); three daughters, Linda Clack (Charles), Shannon Youngblood (Richard), Patricia Keith (Bobby); four grandson, Charles Clack, Jr. (Nancy) , Ricky Clack, Brian Keith, and two great grandson, William Clack and Brady Byrd.

Mr. Dudley is preceded in death by his infant son, Earnest P. Dudley, Jr., his grandson, Jason Youngblood, and brother, Elmer H. Dudley.

A long time resident of Augusta, GA. Mr. Dudley served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Bethlehem Advent Christian Church on Central Avenue. He retired from the Railroad after 47 years as a Railroad Conductor. Mr. Dudley was also a member of American Legion Post #205, a member of John S. Davidson Masonic Lodge #677, and the Alee Shrine Temple. He also enjoyed Golf.

The family will receive friend on Monday, September 30, 2013 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 8 PM.
