RETTIG Clyde Jr., of Wellesley, passed away unexpectedly on September 23. Mr. Rettig graduated from M.I.T. and the Harvard Business School and began his business career at Technology Management Inc., and then at Bain, Inc. A specialist in corporate strategy, he also worked for American Can, Bendix, Raytheon Ventures, Deloitte, and at various times independently advised a range of corporate clients. Beloved husband of Cynthia Rettig, he is also survived by his father, Clyde Rettig, Sr., a sister, Darlene Huth, and an aunt, as well as by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
A memorial celebration will be held on October 12, 2013, at 1:30 PM at the M.I.T. Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the M.I.T. Chapel.
