In Hyannis, September 27, 2013 Mary “Kay” Catherine (Emsley) Gray wife of the late George Gray died at Cape Cod Hospital at the age of 83. Born in Taunton, Mary was the daughter of the late Albert and Agnes (Murphy) Emsley. Mary worked at Beauty Land as a hairdresser until she retired to stay at home and raise her children. The last few years Kay lived on Cape Cod but her heart was always with her family in Taunton. She was the mother of Mark Gray and his wife Linda, Tim Gray and his wife Tammy, Carol Gray and the late Janet Gray. Grandmother of Eric, Lauren, Michael, Joshua and Jennifer. Sister of Rita Sousa, Barbara Pirozzi, William Emsley and the late Eleanor Emsley, Albert “Buzz”, Ben, Robert and Edward Emsley. Aunt of many nieces and nephews who thought of her as their favorite aunt. A service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Tuesday, October 1st at 11 AM. Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
