Mrs. Evelyn (Webb) Abisalih, 77, of Lawrence died Thursday at Mary Immaculate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The daughter of the late Edwin and Laurena (Pedrick) Webb, Mrs. Abisalih was born in Nashua, NH, had been an area resident all her life. She was a parishioner of St. George Orthodox Church on Lowell St. and was a member of the Central Catholic High School Mothers Guild.
The wife of the late Ernest D. Abisalih, Jr., she worked alongside her husband at the family owned New England Rug Company in Methuen. Mrs. Abisalih is survived by three daughters: Barbara and her husband Gary Frizzell of Bradford, MA, Mary Abisalih of Lawrence, MA, and Rachel and her husband Marck Pelletier of Lawrence, MA; four sons: Thomas Abisalih and his wife Lucy of Merrimac, MA, David Abisalih and his wife Marie of Auburn, ME, Charles Abisalih of The Villages, FL, and Philip Abisalih of Lawrence. She also is survived by her thirteen grandchildren: Jonathan Frizzell and his wife Katherine, Jennifer Kelly and her husband Dana, Claire, William, David, Jr., Zachary, Eric, Nicholas, and Kevin Abisalih, Arthur and Luke Pelletier, Matthew and Michele Peaco; as well as four great grandchildren, her loving cat Paw Paw, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Abisalih’s family is deeply grateful to the staff of Mary Immaculate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their kind and compassionate care of our mother and for their warm and friendly support of us while our mother was in their care.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Breen Funeral home, 35 Merrimack Street, North Andover, MA. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow at the United Lebanese Cemetery in Lawrence.
