Faith D. Geyer, 68, of Noank died Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Faith was born on December 5, 1944 in New London, the daughter of Bernard and Antoinette Davis. She married Arthur H. Geyer on February 29, 1964 in Noank at the Methodist Church. Faith was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and will be missed by all who loved her.
Faith graduated from Fitch Senior High School, Class of 1962. She worked for many years as a teller at Connecticut Bank and Trust/Fleet Bank retiring in 2001 and became a very active member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Groton.
Faith is survived by her loving husband of 49 years and her son and daughter, Arthur B. Geyer and wife Holly of Ledyard and Suzanne Walker and husband John of North Stonington. She is also survived by her two sisters, Audrey Smith and husband Carl, and Teddy Timpano and husband Larry, 3 grandchildren, Joshua Geyer, Andrea Geyer and Amy Geyer, and her nieces and nephew.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 200 Hazelnut Hill Road, Groton on Saturday, September 28, at 11:00am. There are no calling hours and burial will be private for the family.
